GREAT TO SAY THE LEAST! Tucked away in the corner in the historical district in Morelia in La Buca, an upscale Italian restaurant in a city not known for Italian food. Out of many of the Italian restaurants that I reviewed, I never thought that a small cocooned space in the middle of Mexico would be one of the best. I had the pleasure of trying every one of calzones and a margarita pizza with my party. The food was indeed exceptional and the ambiance was fantastic. In addition to that, the price was not as expensive compared to other restaurants of the same caliber. I talked with the staff and was given a small tour of the kitchen, everyone seemed delighted to serve us, most likely because it was 3 in the afternoon. That being said, this place hits all the marks with me and for that reason *five stars.*

Great patio and place to have drinks and a little pizza. The dough was crispy and airy and not too soggy in the middle. Pizza is definitely better than the pasta we ordered but we will return to try more. Our server was really nice - and considering it was a busy afternoon everything came pretty fast.

Great place for dinner & drinks, came here as it was recommended by some friends, it did not disappoint. Loved the vibe, mostly young people, indoor and outdoor sitting, right amount of lighting, and music was nice, perfect volume. I had great service from my waitress and food was ready in about 10 minutes from ordering. I had a salad, empanadas argentinas and a fruity cocktail. Prices were reasonable. My salad & cocktail were fantastic, salad was big enough for 2 people. The empanadas Argentinas were ok, have had better before. Gourmet pizzas here are supposed to be really good, I’ll try them next time.

Amazing cocktails, friendly staff, good pizza. The dough could use a change in recipe for wood fire oven but was tasty!

Probably my current favourite restaurant in Morelia that is not Mexican food. The pizza is delicious, it’s definitely the best one in the city. Staff were friendly and accommodated my grandfathers unconventional requests as best they could.
